For the Municipality Hoeksche Waard Spidron Weco has investigated the potential use of geothermal energy in various residential areas in their municipality. During this study the possible link between heat demand and subsurface potential was investigated. Spidron Weco has coordinated and guided the inquiry and the (external) geological investigation. We have sketched conceptual well designs and surface infrastructure. The study provides useful data for the municipality where geothermal heat is a viable option for district heating.
